Cambridge is a cute provincial township with a village green, historical buildings, antique shops, boutique shopping and cafes.
It has a population of approximately 20,000 residents and is increasing at one of the fastest rates in New Zealand.
Cambridge, previously known as the Town of Trees and more recently as the Town of Champions due to the success of our Olympians, is located in the middle of the North Island approximately two hours south of Auckland.
Kelly Rd Cambridge Lodge is on the Thermal Explorer Highway (previously State Highway 1) which is the main tourist route south from Auckland. It has historically been a rural support town and the home of leading thoroughbred studs. Recently however Cambridge has become a destination for sporting excellence with a number of high performance centres relocating to the area due to the excellent world class facilities at Lake Karapiro and the Avantidrome.
