Products

The products we use at Kelly Rd are selected to prevent and reduce our environmental impact. Our bathroom and kitchen bin liners are  100% compostable and biodegradable eco pack bags that contain no plastic and use non toxic water-based inks.  We also offer a cotton amenity takeaway bag to encourage guests to enjoy these amenities at home. Kelly Rd gives preference to local products and services where viable for both the property’s operations and the greater environment.

Waste Management:

The introduction of The Hotel Weka recycling program offers a socially and environmentally responsible partnership to keep bathroom waste to a minimum. All showers and taps are fitted with flow regulators aiding water consumption and power saving devices at the entrance of rooms sustainably control heat, light and power.

Our guests are encouraged to recycle Tin/Aluminium, Glass, Cardboard and Plastic in the bins provided. Our administration team is making significant improvements toward paper-free practices using digital communication and storage whenever possible.

Well-being:

Our guests can enjoy a range of low impact activities in Cambridge such as riding, kayaking, rowing, walking and biking. Te Awa Walkway and Cycleway is less than 1km away.

We have a programme of continuously monitoring and reviewing our environmental practices to keep up to date with current
trends.
