Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup
Here is your opportunity to experience the excitement of world-class track cycling when Cambridge hosts the 2018-2019 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup, only a short walk, ride or drive from Kelly Rd.
Not to be missed
Cycling New Zealand high-performance director Martin Barras said home track advantage will be important for New Zealand track cyclists in their qualifying process for the Tokyo Olympics. “We are aiming to take full advantage of the home World Cup to produce some strong results which will be important as the qualifying period for the Tokyo Olympics will have begun,” Barras said.
“It will provide an opportunity to enter some additional riders from our high-performance squad in Trade Teams, and for these younger riders, it will provide some really important experience.
“We face travelling to our key international competition all the time, and so to be able to compete on their home track, where we train every day, is a huge advantage.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to race in front of friends and family and to present world-class track cycling to sports fans and our community right here at the Avantidrome.”
Ticket prices for the 2019 event range from $15 to $90 and are available through ticketek.co.nz. Buy tickets here.
