Le Quesnoy 100th Commemorations

Town Hall, Cambridge2018 marks the 100th Anniversary of the liberation of Le Quesnoy by New Zealand’s 3rd Rifle Brigade, and there will be celebrations around Cambridge between the 4 – 11th November.
One of these events will be the unveiling of the Le Quesnoy Memorial Statue at Cambridge Domain. The design is based on the leg of the Eiffel Tower and has a silver fern on two sides which represents the New Zealand soldiers who lost their lives.
An art exhibition and other events will take place in the Cambridge Town Hall.
